Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics AB continues to invest in the future development of the Freight Forwarding division. We have entered a strategic agreement with WS Transportation, where we want to build a long-term stable road traffic to/from the UK.

– We are always opened to discuss potential business opportunities. Organic growth is our top priority in 2023 since it’s very difficult to find reasonable valuations on Forwarding companies now. Negotiations have been held with WS Transportation for a shorter period and now the strategic contract has been signed. Mikael Nilsson was hired in 2022 as Business Development Manager for our road department in Gothenburg.

– I have extended experience from the UK market and it´s been very clear since I started that we must grow and develop both new and existing markets. It feels exciting to be involved from the beginning and try to build something new in the UK, says Mikael Nilsson, Business Development Manager Road.

Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics AB is an expansive company with a total of 60 employees in Gothenburg (HQ), Jönköping, Malmö, Norrköping, Ystad, Helsinki and Vilnius. Over the past five years, we have expanded greatly through several acquisitions. We acquired Unitrans AB (now SSL Customs), in 2018. Majority shares in CR Cargo International AB were acquired in 2019 and in 2022 we bought Ystad Transport & Logistics AB.
