Rail transport between China and Europe – What impact does it have on your transportation needs?

In 2013 China’s President Xi Jinping introduced Belt and Road initiative, which is an infrastructure project that extends far beyond China’s borders. A side effect of this initiative is that we now have the opportunity to transport goods to/from China by rail transport. In the last two years, the transport volumes transported by rail have increased extremely and the product is now an established transport mode in the Swedish market.

Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics therefore invites you to a breakfast seminar on 17th October where we will take a closer look at how the rail product is structured, how it can contribute to faster lead times for Swedish importers/exporters and it’s functionality.

Johan Ignell, Business Developer will together with Björn Eklund, founder of Scandinavian Shipping & logistics, talk about:

-Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics future plans and vision

-The background of the Belt and Road initiative.

-What do the transport routes look like?

-What is the cost and lead time compared with sea and air transport?
