Class vessel,\u00a0<strong>H\u00f6egh Moonlight<\/strong>, at the Port of Gothenburg \u2013 the largest port in Scandinavia. At the ceremony,\u00a0<strong>Jenny Westermark, Senior Vice President Production Logistics at Volvo Group<\/strong>, acted as sponsor and performed the traditional bottle breaking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The evening before the ceremony, H\u00f6egh Autoliners hosted a memorable dinner with excellent food and drinks. Guests were entertained by two iconic artists \u2013\u00a0<strong>Ina Wroldsen<\/strong>\u00a0from Norway and\u00a0<strong>Carola H\u00e4ggkvist<\/strong>\u00a0from Sweden \u2013 symbolising the strong ties between the two countries.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Aurora Class \u2013 capacity and environmental impact<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li><strong>Capacity<\/strong>: 9,100 car equivalent units (CEU), part of a series of 12 next-generation vessels.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Environmental profile<\/strong>: The first eight vessels are powered by LNG dual-fuel engines and are ammonia-ready for future operations. This results in approximately\u00a0<strong>58% lower emissions per transported car<\/strong>\u00a0compared to the industry average.<\/li>\n<li>From 2027, an additional four vessels will be delivered, fully equipped to run on clean ammonia from day one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Voices from the ceremony<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Andreas Enger, CEO of H\u00f6egh Autoliners:<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>\u201cThe naming of H\u00f6egh Moonlight demonstrates our strong commitment to decarbonising deep-sea shipping \u2013 not in the future, but right now, today. Key initiatives include shore power, green shipping corridors, electrification, and the fuels of the future. During the ceremony, CEO G\u00f6ran Eriksson highlighted that H\u00f6egh\u2019s new vessels will enable Swedish industry to access global markets in an even more efficient and climate-smart way.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>SSL Liner Agency \u2013 H\u00f6egh\u2019s partner in Sweden and Finland<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Sweden, H\u00f6egh Autoliners is represented by\u00a0<strong>SSL Liner Agency<\/strong>, part of Scandinavian Shipping &amp; Logistics in Gothenburg.
